MISSION
To provide a safe and supportive environment for all non-normative sexualities and genders, and those interested in them, within the University of Maryland at College Park community and to promote an accepting and supportive campus environment for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities, through outreach, education, and work with other student organizations.
We serve as a visible point of organization and contact for communities of non-normative sexuality and gender, and those interested, both on- and off-campus. This includes providing social, cultural, educational, and volunteer/activist opportunities for interested resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied students.

THE BOARD
President: Connor Voss
Voss is a performance artist, professional human, and sophomore dance major. His hobbies include urban planning, learning foreign languages, makeup art, queer theory, listening to people, and hydration. He has worked in NYC and DC nightlife for the past 3 years, and has always dreamt of running away to join the circus. He served as Director of Outreach for the Pride Alliance since the beginning of Spring 2010 and President since the beginning of Fall 2011.
Vice President: Matt Arnstine
Matt is a junior Government and Politics major, leadership minor. Matt enjoys being involved on campus, including The Diamondback, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and SEE. He's a political junkie who always gets involved talking about Nancy Pelosi when frequenting the DC gay bars. Currently he can be reached at vicepride@gmail.com
Social Chair: Spencer Brennen
Spencer Brennen is a senior studio art major, art history minor. It was either that or get in trouble in every class for doodling. Spencer loves painting and drawing so if you
ever see him he'll probably be tucked away in a corner scribbling on a
well worn pad of paper with five or six pencils and or brushes in his
hands, mouth and hair. When he's not drawing or working for any of the
student groups he's involved with, Spencer spends his time listening to
music, cooking, or watching more comedy than is perhaps good for him.
His life is full of both frivolous and significant experiences which

I am a sophomore Architecture major and this is my first year being involved in Pride Alliance and my second year participating in events. I am a student in the Public Leadership program of College Park Scholars, in which I contributed and taught nutritional and fitness information to middle school students as an after school volunteer community service project. During my free time, my main interests are listening to tons of music and watching sports (Washington Redskins, New York Yankees, San Antonio Spurs, and everything Maryland Terps. I do wish to continue through with my major and eventually go into urban planning, as well as continue my years committing to the greater needs for the LGBTQQIA community. Christopher John is a freshman at the University of Maryland and an Environmental Science major. He has had much experience working with people, being the vice president of the student body at his high school and help running his schools GSA (Gay straight alliance). His hopes are to become well integrated into the University of Maryland and help the students as much as possible and hopes by being apart of the Pride Alliance he can grow closer to the student body. As office administrator Christopher will be responsible for ensuring that the office is kept clean and organized and keeping an inventory and order when necessary (supplies, fliers for tabling, literature, etc) also maintaining up-to-date office hours and their posting as required for continued office space allocation; coordinating office decoration; checking voicemail, mail, and coordinating with Union Staff about package deliveries.
